Her goal is to create a space where curiosity, acceptance, and honest conversation are always welcome.
Brenda's therapeutic style is collaborative, supportive, warm, and straightforward. She draws from Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy — but ultimately, she tailors therapy to you, not the other way around. She values mutual respect, communication, humor, flexibility, and the freedom to explore your story without shame. In our work together, you’ll be encouraged to challenge old beliefs, rewrite unhelpful narratives, and build healthier ways of thinking, connecting, and experiencing yourself and others — emotionally, mentally, and sexually.
Outside of the therapy room, she's an Air Force veteran, military spouse, and mom. She's lived all over the world, which helps her connect genuinely with people from many different backgrounds and identities. She believes empathy isn’t just a skill — it’s a way of seeing the world. As Alfred Adler said, “Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another, and feeling with the heart of another.”
